Design, look and feel

The earphones are made of plastic with a soft texture on them which feels nice in hand and a bit premium too. Since these are wireless headphone there’s only one short flat cable connect in the earphones together. If you don’t like the all black color, there’s a red wire one too. Asides from that, the earphones are also IPX4 certified water resistant. This means that you can wear them in a rain or in a gym without worrying about them getting damaged.

Since these are sporty earphones, they have an ear hook around them for better ear grip and comfort and they seem does their job pretty well.

The controls and the power button are located on the right earbud. Ther’s also an inbuilt microphone available for taking calls. For music controls, you have the volume control buttons on the top, and when you long press them they act as a trackback button too. The power button doubles up as a play/pause button as well.

The earphones come with Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and work with almost all smartphones out there. Connecting these are pretty straightforward. All you need to do is that just turn the earphones on by tapping the power button on the right earbud and it will right away go into pairing mode.

Aside from the earphones you also get a carrying case. This case is a hard shell case which makes it easier to carry. Alongside that, you will get different sized silicone ear tips and a micro USB cable to charge the earphones.

One question that always comes around with these earphones is that do the other person hear well through the mic since the mic is located on the earpiece.? I made few calls with the Tgg Inferno, and the other person was able to hear me quite well. So no worries on that part.

Battery life

The battery life on these earphones is pretty good. On the box, it says it should give you around 7 hours of music play time, 8-9 hours of call time and around 150 hours of standby time.

In our tests, the Tagg Inferno gave around 8 hours of music playback time and 6 hor 30 minutes of talk time in a single full charge. As I said earlier, these headphone uses micro USB charging so you can use your smartphone charging adapter to charge it.

Sound quality

Coming to the main point, does these sound any good?. I can tell you that these might be the best in sound quality in this price range. The audio quality of the Tagg Inferno is amazing with great high’s, mids. Base output is pretty good too. The bass is not overpowering but at the same time is adequate. The overall audio quality is nicely balanced and wide.
