It is always known to everyone that Chinese companies give more specifications for the same price that other brands do. Most people hesitate to buy Chinese products just because they feel the quality is cheap. But not always. If you compare Bluetooth speakers the Chinese made Soundbot SB571 vs JBL Go or other wireless speakers like Mi Bluetooth speaker, Philips BT50B etc, you will find this convincing. But as I mentioned in the beginning, is it just a Chinese maker just boasting around or is it really worth? Lets see.

Soundbot SB571 vs JBL Go comparison

Design & built quality

The Soundbot SB571 looks similar to the Mi Bluetooth speaker in terms of shape, but the SB 571 is a lot more wider than the Mi Speaker. The power button on the back side is a little flimsy but not a major issue. Other buttons like pause, play and skip tracks on the sides are easy to locate and provides good tactile feedback. Overall the Soundbot Sb571 built quality is nice and can be compared to JBL Go.

On the other hands JBL Go has a square boxed design. Unlike Soundbot SB571, JBL Go doesn’t have buttons for pause/play , skip tracks. This means for playing next track, you may need to pickup your smartphone in case of JBL go. JBL Go weighs only 132 grams compared to 476 grams of SB571. If you are looking for portability, JBL Go will not disappoint you.

Sound and Bass

Soundbot SB571 wins over JBL Go in terms of volume. It is actually really loud as well. The good thing is it performs well on the mids and high frequencies. Well, the irony is the most advertised part in SB 571 is its bass which is not very great in this speaker. It doesn’t mean that it is bad but it has nothing extraordinary as the company boasts.

JBL Go, people are loving it just because of its sound quality and the bass produced. It defenitly cant go as loud as Soundbot Sb 571. The base sound good on this one.

Battery backup

The Soundbot SB571 is packed with a 1000 mAh battery which lasts for about 10 hours with 75 %  volume. On the other hand JBL Go will last about 5 hours on battery if you are playing continuously on moderate volumes. As with big battery and speakers, Sb 571 weighs 3 times of JBL go, so carrying it would be tough though.

Verdict: Which wireless speaker is good?

I would say on sound department, both speakers has its merits and demerits. If you want a louder one, go for Soundbot Sb571. If you need better portability and smaller size buy JBL Go.
