JBL Go Bluetooth Speaker

Both the JBL GO and Boat Rugby has its control panel fitted on the top panel of the speaker with the charging port and the AUX port coming on the sides. JBL GO is a really lightweight speaker coming in at just around 130 grams whereas the Boat Rugby is surely on the heavier side weighing in at almost 500 grams. Also, the JBL GO is equipped with a strap hook that helps to connect the device easily to your backpacks. One small con that can be said about the Boat Rugby model is that the rubber matte finishing can be subjected to dirt if you use it outside but can easily be rubbed off.

Neither of the two speakers comes with a button for the skip forward/backward button which could have made them more easy to use. Now you would have to do that on your phone itself. There is no battery indicator on either product which would have made them more awesome than they all already are.

SOUND QUALITY

The Boat Rugby Wireless Bluetooth speaker employs a 2.1 channel speaker that is able to amplify power up to 10 W for an excellent audio experience. It consists of two drivers. The amazing Boat Sound technology helps in echo and noise canceling. VERDICT

Available in the market for similar price ranges of around Rs.1500, both the Boat Rugby and JBL GO are elegant, efficient and powerful when it comes to design, battery and acoustic performance. However, JBL GO has a lot of cool features like voice integration features, the call receive button. Judging based on acoustic performance, both models are equally good. So picking one model over the other is a choice left to you based on your needs and expectations from a Bluetooth Wireless Speaker.
